CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi, alongside Sister Cities International, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony commemorating the new Sister Cities art display at the Corpus Christi International Airport on Friday, November 3, at 12:00 p.m. Mayor Paulette Guajardo and Melody Cooper, Chairwoman of the Corpus Christi Sister City Committee, made opening remarks before the Committee members cut the ribbon for the new display.
The new display showcases the four different Corpus Christi Sister Cities and is designed by Christopher Hunter.
The Corpus Christi Sister Cities Committee also announced the opening of the 2024 Student Exchange Program applications for high school Sophomores and Juniors. The Corpus Christi Sister City Committee invites all Corpus Christi high school sophomores and juniors to apply for a chance to travel abroad this summer to one of Corpus Christi’s Sister Cities, Agen, France, and Yokosuka, Japan.
