We're proud to support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program at Corpus Christi International Airport. This program helps travelers with hidden disabilities feel more comfortable and confident during their journey.

Hidden disabilities are conditions that may not be immediately obvious to others. These can include autism spectrum disorder, chronic pain, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, mobility impairments, and more. The Sunflower program uses a discreet symbol – the sunflower – to let airport staff know that a traveler may require extra support. This could include extra time during security checks, assistance with navigating the airport, or priority boarding.

The Sunflower program aims to create a more inclusive travel experience for everyone.

Passengers can request a lanyard to be picked up in person at the airport or mailed to them ahead of their trip by filling out the request form below. In-person pick-ups should be requested 48 hours ahead of their trip and must be picked up Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If a traveler would like it sent via mail, lanyards should be requested at least 10 business days ahead of the trip.
