Airport Badging

Badging at Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) is a very important part of our efforts to keep things safe and secure for passengers, tenants, employees, and visitors. While every airport is set up to manage badging a little differently, we like to keep things simple for all who need to communicate with us and for those who will be coming in to complete the process. The information provided here is designed to help with planning.

Every new employee or contractor employee who is applying for a badge for the first time, must go through the classroom training. The Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) training takes about an hour. In addition, any person who will need driving privileges on the airfield or on the Aircraft Operating Area (AOA) will need to stay an additional hour for that specialized training.
