$17.9M Terminal Rehabilitation Project

Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) has an ongoing Capital Improvement Plan that helps ensure the safety of the airfield and the safe and efficient use of all facilities and airport property. The ongoing projects are pursued in a measured way to maximize federal funding, maintain a safe operating environment for all airport users, and to minimize the inconveniences caused by construction activity.

Within the Terminal Rehabilitation Project, all 3 public restrooms will be receiving a complete renovation. Each set of restrooms has $1M invested into it, including LED lighted mirrors, a vanity area in the women's restroom, and red and green lights above the stalls to indicate occupancy. All 3 restrooms have a completion date of May 2024.
